Red 5 Limited is an ASX listed gold mining company with a focus on the Eastern Goldfields region of Western Australia, where it has recently embarked on an acquisition and consolidation strategy.
The combined acquisitions of Darlot Gold Mine and King of the Hills Mining Project provide an extensive strategic footprint in the Leonora - Leinster mineral district of Western Australia and the ability to leverage this position by pursuing a regional consolidation strategy aimed at establishing the King of the Hills project as a central processing hub.
Red 5 Limited are currently seeking a suitably qualified Purchasing Officer to join our procurement team at our King of the Hills Mine Site.
Reporting to the Procurement Superintendent, you will be responsible for ensuring that Red 5 Purchase Orders and Quotes are Converted and issued in a Timely and accurate manner
This role is offered on 8 days on 6 days off roster and may require some travel to site.
Key responsibilities will include: Process purchase requisitions in accordance with purchasing procedures and policy.Expediting of Orders and updating Status to ensure DOTIF (Delivery on time in Full)Run and maintain MRP on all Stock (Both Sites)Provide advice to suppliers in relation to Red 5 Ltd. procurement practices.Assist AP with Invoice Queries and any other issues.Provide effective customer service by providing up to date information and advice to supervisors and staff.Maximise communication within the group with due consideration of key issues.Handle all sensitive information in a confidential manner, including all salary and personnel related correspondence.Demonstrate integrity and honesty, and ensure that compliance with relevant legislation, awards and Red 5 Limited's' policies achieved.Other Duties as Requested by Supply Co-OrdinatorKey factors to your success include: Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar roleDemonstrated understanding and application of relevant legislationExperience with SAP (FIORI Preferred)Experience in Microsoft Excel & Word Document'sRed 5 Limited employees benefit from a culture that supports a safe, modern and secure working environment, favourable working conditions, training and development opportunities, career advancement opportunities, profit sharing/performance bonus scheme plus other financial benefits, competitive salary packages and the autonomy and responsibility to achieve individual, project and organisational goals.
