We have an exciting opportunity within our Glazing Division. We are seeking an experienced purchasing generalist to Business Partner with our Operations team for end to end management of Fleet, Supply Chain & Property. The Purchasing Manager provides critical support to the O'Brien Glass Operations team with industry leading fleet management and body refurbishments, flexible and efficient supply chain function and footprint strategy implementation. About the Role: We are seeking a highly organised and motivated individual to work closely with our Glazing Operations team to support efficient, cost effective and compliant service delivery.
This role will cover: Fleet: You will be responsible for negotiating and maintaining current fleet leases, managing commercial fleet replenishment, vehicle asset management and refurbishment, compliance, cost management. This includes fleet utilisation and performance monitoring.Supply Chain: Bulk Glass Purchasing & Supply Chain Management - Local & Import including being responsible for Supply Planning, Vendor & Supplier Management, Customs & Import Compliance, Inventory Control, Logistics Coordination, Local Supplier Management.Property: Implement and maintain our Footprint Strategy, Site Assessment & Risk Analysis, Lease Negotiation & Management, Building Fit-out, including liaising with trades and property managers.Capex: Business Case Development.Sustainability: Identify opportunities to reduce CO2 emissions and landfill and mitigate risks of Modern Slavery in the supply chain.About You: You will be a highly motivated and organised individual who can work effectively to deliver innovative solutions, efficiencies, achieve value for money, reduce risk and maintain compliance in support of our Glazing Operations.
