Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will be a highly organised Purchasing Manager with a drive for overseeing all procurement activities, ensuring cost-effective and timely acquisition of goods for our organisation.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals and budget constraintsManage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and secure favorable terms to optimize cost savingsAnalyse pricing data and supplier performance to make informed purchasing decisionsOversee the entire procurement process, from requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with company policies and proceduresCollaborate with cross-functional teams within the Precinct to understand and fulfill departmental needs efficientlyMaintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and inventory levelsImplement and manage inventory control systems to optimize stock levels and minimize wasteGenerate comprehensive reports on procurement activities, expenditures, and supplier performanceStay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in procurement and supply chain management Qualifications

Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain managementExcellent negotiation and vendor management skillsExperience with procurement software and inventory management systems (Purchase Plus preferred)Outstanding communication and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance standardsAbility to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple priorities Additional Information
