Our client, a leading manufacturing organisation, is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to join their team.

As a Purchasing Coordinator, you will support the purchasing manager to ensure the smooth operation of purchasing / procurement activities.
You will liaise with suppliers, coordinate orders, and contribute to efficient inventory management.
Your duties will include but not be limited to: Purchase Order Management – Create and manage purchase orders to meet operational needs.
Order Expediting – Ensure timely delivery of materials and goods by actively following up with suppliers.
Inventory Management – Monitor and plan stock levels to support production schedules.
Supplier Relations – Build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
Internal Coordination – Collaborate with internal teams, including production and finance, to align purchasing activities with business objectives.
Documentation and Compliance – Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier agreements, and inventory levels.
To be considered for this role, you must have: Similar experience in a supporting role within supply chain or purchasing.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Previous experience with ERP systems (experience with Pronto is highly desirable).
A proactive attitude with strong problem-solving skills.
