The position: The Casual Purchasing Associate will ensure that parts are ordered to the specifications and delivered in full on time by our suppliers. You will ensure that orders are fulfilled correctly, and that any changes or delays are communicated to the Customer Service Team. This role requires regular communication with a range of stakeholders, including suppliers our internal Retail, Fulfillment and Customer Experience teams.
You'll be responsible for: Ordering parts for our e-commerce customersConfirm, track & expedite orders placed withnational and local suppliersEnsure strong partnerships with assigned suppliersFollow up diligently on any delayed orders and track any issues with suppliers or carriersDIFOT management (delivery in full on time)Supporting the Customer Service Team with enquiries with orders and product availabilitySupporting fulfilment teams with delivery errorsAid the Returns associate in efficiently managing supplier returnsCollecting data for supplier scorecardsRange & Product information updatesAs an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you'll have: Prior experience in a similar purchasing roleAbility to maintain high level of accuracy and attention to detailAbility to work independently, multi-task and prioritize workloadA strong work ethic and team spiritExcellent communication &report building skillsIdeally have two years' experience in a similar purchasing roleHybrid role with flexible work locations of Truganina/ Rowville & WFH flexibilityWhat is in it for you?
