About the Role A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a skilled Purchasing and Supply Officer to join the Santos Drilling & Completions team. Brisbane based, you will join a dynamic and inclusive team and will report to the Supply Lead. Your primary responsibility will be to plan and execute all those activities involved in the procurement and supply of materials and transactional level services into the organization.

Key responsibilities will include:
• Facilitation of Supply planning meetings with stakeholder groups to ensure supply chain constraints are identified and rectified prior to works commencement.
• Lead rectification initiatives for relevant Supply Chain Issues & Failures/ Safety Incidents.
• Ensure key supply chain performance metrics are obtained
• Collaboration with stakeholders focused on standardisation of process and materials.
• Lead Supply Chain change management activities for engineering & procurement-initiated supply changes
• Maintain accurate dynamic demand signal and provide long lead time forecasts to suppliers and stakeholders.
• Manage supplier performance to achieve reliable and accurate supply and support the delivery of strategic supply chain solutions in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Lead or Support procurement/supply chain improvements, in consultation with cross-business technical stakeholders, focused on cost, delivery and quality improvements.
About You Holding Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (Business, IS, Law, Engineering, Commerce), it is preferred that the successful candidate also possess formal recognition in, or extensive exposure to Lean / Six Sigma methodologies. You will also possess experience in a previous Supply Chain Role (Scheduling, Planning, Contracts, Purchasing, Logistics), along with advanced analytical & data management skills and advanced collaboration skills.
Highly proficient in Excel data processing, as well as experience and knowledge on SAP or other ERP system, and a technical knowledge of Drilling & Completions will be held in high regard.
