Job Description The successful candidate for the Purchasing Analyst role will be responsible for:
Raise, maintain and monitor purchase orders (PO's) in the ERP systemFollow up with suppliers throughout the PO lifecycle, from PO creation until goods receiptIdentifying opportunities to improve processes and reports that create efficiencies or improve effectiveness of the purchasing functionWork with Purchasing Manager to update Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), and with IT/Systems teams to enhance applications that lead to improved efficiency and effectivenessMonitor supplier performance from a purchasing viewpoint, and bring any issues or concerns to the attention of the broader Procurement The Successful Applicant The successful candidate for the Purchasing Analyst role will ideally have the following key skills & qualities:
Thorough knowledge of procurement processes, supply chain management of inventory control.Strong attention to detail and an aptitude to follow systematic approach/processes.The drive and organisational skills necessary to work across several purchase orders, suppliers, and projects simultaneously.Experience in Purchasing within a supply chain or logistics environment, preferably in an FMCG sector.Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills What's on Offer $100,000 - $120,000SuperannuationGood career prospects in a growing organisationBe part of an experienced team
