Are you a skilled CNC machinist looking to take your career to the next level? Join Purcell's Engineering, an industry leader in precision engineering/manufacturing. We're seeking a dedicated 5-Axis CNC Machinist to produce high-quality, precision components in our state-of-the-art facility.
Key Responsibilities/Duties Operate and set up 5-axis CNC machines to produce precision parts based on engineering drawings and specifications. Interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD/CAM files to ensure accuracy. Program CNC machines using G-code, M-code, and CAM software. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment. Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and tolerances using precision measuring tools (e.g., micrometres, callipers, and CMM). Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize manufacturing processes and improve efficiency. Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with company and safety standards. Requirements Proven experience as a 5-axis CNC machinist or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of CNC programming and machining principles. Proficiency with CAD/CAM software. Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and specifications. Familiarity with precision measuring equipment and quality control processes. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
