Pump Assembly Technician

The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, skilled, and self-driven Assembly Technician to join our team at our Head Office in Castle Hill. Reporting to the Production Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Assisting in the construction of skid systems and baseplates Trimming impellers and performing basic turning jobs Painting pumps, motors, and associated equipment Conducting electrical cabling tasks as required Documenting test results for all assembled pumps Inspecting, reporting, and repairing returned pumps Assisting with mechanical issues Overhauling pumps Assembling and testing pumps using components sourced from Asia and Europe What You Will Bring
We seek an individual with a robust technical background and proven workshop experience. A trade background in engines or other machinery would be relevant and advantageous.

Additional experience and qualifications should include:
Trade certificate in machining or equivalent Experience in assembly and equipment testing Forklift certification (beneficial but not necessary) Welding certification (beneficial but not necessary) Electrical Disconnect/Reconnect qualifications (assistance available if required) Strong mechanical aptitude Flexibility and adaptability to manage changing priorities What We Offer
