With over 130 customers and partnerships with 20 leading vendors, they offer a comprehensive suite of services, including ISO Certification, Penetration Testing, GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) solutions, and Security Operations Centre (SOC) support.Role OverviewThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a growing team and focus on outbound sales. You will drive growth by selling the company's full portfolio, which includes cybersecurity software solutions and IT consulting services, such as staffing developers and contractors for onsite roles. The ideal candidate will excel at identifying opportunities, building client relationships, and managing the entire sales process.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and generate new business opportunities across public and private sectors.Drive sales of cybersecurity software and IT consulting services, including placing skilled developers and contractors onsite to meet client needs.Collaborate with senior leadership for presales support to ensure tailored solutions for clients.Expand existing accounts through strategic upselling and cross-selling of software and services.Maintain a robust sales pipeline, meeting KPIs such as five new meetings per month and achieving targeted closure rates.Oversee the sales cycle from initial contact through account management and retention.Your ProfileProven track record in outbound sales, preferably in IT, cybersecurity, or consulting services.Highly motivated and adaptable, with a hunger for achieving and exceeding sales targets.Strong networking and relationship-building skills, particularly with SMEs and government organizations.Familiarity with the cybersecurity landscape or IT services is advantageous but not required.Flexibility to work from any location on the eastern seaboard, with a preference for Melbourne.Why Join the Team?Be part of a collaborative team of 11, including direct support from company founders during presales.Sell a diverse range of cybersecurity and IT solutions backed by strong vendor partnerships.Enjoy uncapped commission opportunities, with no reliance on traditional marketing strategies.Work with a company recognized for its impact in government and SME markets and its ability to 'punch above its weight.'Contribute to a growing business that emphasizes organic growth and industry-leading innovation.KPIs and Success MetricsAchieve a 40% closure rate on qualified opportunities.Generate $30 K GP monthly within the first 16 months.Annual sales target $1 M+ but can vary on what you're selling.Support client retention and account growth through exceptional service and strategic initiatives.How to ApplyApply online via our website.
