Description
* the salary advertised is for full time hours, part-time will be pro-rata. The starting salary rate may be negotiated (within the salary range advertised) with the successful applicant(s) based on their skills, experience and capability to meet relevant work level standards. About the role The Communications and Media team is responsible for all aspects of the publication of ATSB investigation reports, managing the ATSB's media inquiries and activities, providing advice to senior management on media, communications and issues management, and managing the ATSB's internal communications functions.
In this role you will work to the Manager Communications and Media and provide support to the team's Media Advisor.
Role responsibilities Preparation and publishing of ATSB investigation reports and media releases on the ATSB website using GOVCms Preparation, coordination and distribution of advance release copies of ATSB reports, including any supporting documentation, to directly involved parties and other key stakeholders using the ATSB Investigation Management System (AIMS) software program Proofreading, in line with the ATSB Style Guide, and quality assurance checking of all ATSB investigation reports prior to their publication Proofreading and quality assurance checking of other ATSB publications, reports and documents as required Preparation and publishing of other content as required on the ATSB website, such as reporting and accountability documents, employment opportunities, and safety promotion materials using GOVCms Providing logistics and organisational support for ATSB media activities Other communications and publishing tasks in support of Communications and Media team activities as required. What you'll need to succeed in this role
Experience with using the GOVCms platform for web publishing Strong skills and ability with the Microsoft suite of office applications including Word, SharePoint and Teams Experience with or the ability to learn how to work within large information database systems Good interpersonal skills and the ability to learn and explain processes and system driven workflows to others Experience in publishing and proofreading High level oral and written communication skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
