REPORTS TO: Southeast Regional PublisherLOCATION: Fernandina Beach, FloridaCommunity Newspapers, Inc. is seeking a proven leader to manage all operations of our twice weekly newspaper in Fernandina Beach, Florida, and publish a distinguished and profitable newspaper with excellence in news and advertising.The publisher is the visionary and tactical leader of the organization and the face of the newspaper in the community.
The ideal candidate will have strong sales and marketing experience with a track record of being a brand ambassador while generating traditional revenue, but also possess a keen eye for new initiatives to complement the core product.The News-Leader is Florida's oldest weekly newspaper and serves a local market that includes the beaches of Amelia Island and the growing community of Yulee.
