ABC Audiences is made up of a passionate group of marketing, brand, creative, audience experience, UX and audience insights specialists who have audiences at the heart of all they do. They're responsible for leading the ABC's brand and audience strategies, acquiring and engaging audiences both within our broadcast and digital ecosystems and working collaboratively with partner divisions to lead an integrated approach to audience insights, branding, acquisition and retention strategies, and communication.
About the Role This role is all things ABC publicity. You will lead publicity planning and implementation to deliver on key audience priorities for the ABC, including developing publicity strategies that promote relevant ABC content and platforms to target audience segments.
Reporting to the Publicity & Partnerships Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and developing promotional, and cross platform opportunities to enhance publicity activities and marketing campaigns.
You'll also manage the production and distribution of interview schedules, press kits, media releases, photography, digital assets and previews to support content promotion.
About You You will have extensive publicity experience - preferably in media - and highly advanced talent, event and reputation management skills. You'll also have strong media relationships, with proven understanding of social media platforms, content and trends, relating to media opportunities and partnerships.
You're an excellent communicator, both verbal and written, with highly advanced stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage effective stakeholder relationships at a number of levels.
You'll also possess highly advanced problem-solving and reputational management skills.
