If you require any support or adjustments to participate in any stage of our recruitment process, please let us know in your application.About youAs ourPublications Manager, you'll have significant editing experience, preferably in a healthcare, medical or scientific environment, with the ability to determine quality, evidence-based sources and their use to support clinical decision-making. Your exceptional oral and written communication skills, attention to detail and accuracy, along with you highly developed interpersonal skills, will ensure you can effectively liaise and communicate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to meet content and production deadlines.To thrive in this role, you'll have:an undergraduate degree in communications, editing or a related field with extensive experience managing production and editorial processes for multiple titles, and medical editing experience as an editor in a scholarly publishing environmentdemonstrated knowledge and experience with permissions and copyrightcomprehension of technical and medical literature; knowledge of medical terminology and clinical guidelinesbusiness level skills in Microsoft Office applications, with knowledge of publishing softwareAbout the opportunityReporting to theHead of Marketing and Commercial,you'll lead a team of high performing editors to provide editorial support to the RACGP in the production of the Australian Journal of General Practice (AJGP), check, standards, guidelines and other member resources.
