St Andrews Christian College is a coeducational Christian school (Prep – Year 12), located in Wantirna South, Melbourne. We are seeking a dedicated and creative individual to join our team as the Publications & Social Media Coordinator at St Andrews Christian College. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity for a motivated professional to make a meaningful impact within our College. As the Media and Publications Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing our media and publications strategy.
As the Publications & Social Media Coordinator, your primary responsibilities will include:
Design and produce appropriate marketing material for use by the College;Assist in the coordination, planning and promotion of College events, in particular Open Days and Alumni events;Assist in the monitoring and assessment of marketing campaigns and promotional activitiesCoordinate the publication of the College Newsletter (once per term), College Yearbook and other publications;Ensure a high quality and consistency in College branding and identity, as per the College Style Guide, on all communication publications and digital platforms;Coordinate content management across a range of digital and traditional platforms including website and social media platforms;Under the direction of the Marketing & Communications Manager, maintain a library of media resources, including newspaper articles. photographs of College events, photographs for marketing purposes, audio-visual files, advertisements; andAssist where required in the development and maintenance of the College's Alumni program.The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, exceptional written communication skills, and a passion for storytelling. Desired Skills and ExperienceRequired Skills: An awareness and understanding of Christian education;Experience in setting up and establishing successful marketing and promotional campaigns;Excellent writing and editing skills;Experience and understanding in maintaining websites and social media platforms;Strong ICT skills with proficiency in the use of Apple Mac Adobe Creative Suit, Microsoft Office Suite and Video editing/graphic software, desirable not essential;Graphic design skills highly desirable;Qualifications and experience in marketing, communications or public relations;Ability to complete all tasks with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail;Ability to prioritise tasks and work with minimal supervision;Ability to work collaboratively with College Staff;Be willing to work after hours when required to attend College events/activities;Ability to prioritise work schedule and meet agreed deadlines; andSatisfactory Working With Children Check and National Police Records check.Some of the great benefits of working at St Andrews Christian College include:
