About the Tasmanian State Service The Tasmanian State Service (TSS) is the largest employer in Tasmania, with over 28,000 employees providing services to the Tasmanian community at all levels.
Key Responsibilities Provide statewide leadership in public health nutrition consistent with State and National policy. Participate in and lead the development and implementation of whole-of-government food and nutrition policy, regulation, and programs. Liaise with national bodies and represent Tasmania on government/national committees. Provide expert public health nutrition advice to stakeholders across various sectors. Advise on the nutritional implications of food regulation and standards. Details of Appointment Permanent, part-time position working 60.8 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*Hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Salary: $139,492 - $147,192 per annum. Includes 11.5% superannuation contribution.

Minimum 8 years professional experience in a relevant field. The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job must satisfy a pre-employment check.
