There are two x full time fixed-term positions available until 30 June 2025, based in Darwin or East Arnhem Land with regular travel required to MHAC health centres located across East Arnhem Land. What's in it for you?Competitive salary $96,467 – $101,786 (depending on skills and experience)Up to $10,000 for relocation (3.5k for Darwin based or 10k for Nhulunbuy based)Ability to Salary Package up to $15,900pa plus a further $2,650pa on Meals and Entertainment5 Weeks annual leave Access to scholarships and bursaries through NT PHN Be based in Darwin or NhulunbuyWhat's the role?Provide best practice clinical and culturally responsive dietetic services to priority groups such as chronic disease, aged care, pediatrics and NDIS clients in Miwatj communities with minimal supervision.Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure best practice clinical and social support for clientsLead the integration of Medical Dhäwu Dhäwu sessions into the dietetic service • Deliver public health nutrition activities and assist with projectsContribute to the development of culturally responsive nutrition education and training resources.Support external community programs (i.e. schools, stores, early childhood stakeholders) by assessing food supply and providing continuous quality improvement recommendations to improve food supply. Is this the right role for you?Tertiary qualification in nutrition and dieteticsCurrent Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) status with Dietitians Australia (DA).Proven ability to work in a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment and engage with internal and external stakeholders.High level written and oral communication skills and proven ability to communicate effectively in a variety of settings.Ability and willingness to travel regularly to communities in the Miwatj region.Current Ochre Card (Working with Children's Check NT), criminal history check and NDIS clearance or ability and willingness to obtain.NT PHN/RWA NT may be able to offer relocation support and clinical educational financial assistance to health professionals who are relocating to the NT or moving within the NT to a greater remoteness area classification for the purposes of employment and further clinical education.
