Mantra Portsea is located in the heart of Port Douglas in Tropical North Queensland, one-hour drive north of Cairns CBD.
The property comprises one, two, and three-bedroom apartments, lagoon style pool with pool bar and onsite breakfast room.

Snorkel alongside turtles at The Great Barrier Reef, ground yourself, breathing in the fresh air of the rainforests, and indulge in the history of Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander heritage.PurposeAs a Public Area Attendant, you are a valuable member of our Housekeeping team, responsible for keeping our shared spaces exceptionally clean and focusing on the little things.
You will feel at ease working both independently and alongside your team members and enjoy engaging with guests, helping them with any questions or requests they may have.Hourly Rate:Monday - Friday: $24.98Saturday: $31.23Sunday: $37.47Public Holiday: $56.21This role is open to Australian citizens, permanent residents or regional visa holders only - not suitable for working holiday makers.Primary ResponsibilitiesEnsure the property always looks its best, inside and out.Embrace the cleaning challenge, sprucing up both indoor and outdoor public areas (including pool, gym and shared bathrooms) to meet our high cleanliness and presentation standards.Expertly handle specialised equipment and chemicals with safety in mind.Offering help to guests with inquiries and security matters, and collaborating with different departments to accomplish tasks.Be the eyes and ears for our maintenance and guest services teams, reporting any issues promptly, from maintenance problems to damaged equipment and missing items.Skills and ExperiencePrevious experience in a similar role (as a cleaner/room attendant/public areas attendant) is a plus.Your communication style is warm and welcoming, making both guests and team members feel at ease.You have an eye for detail and work efficiently, managing your time well and taking pride in your tasks.Adaptability and physical fitness to work in both internal and external environments, including staircases and uncovered areas.You enjoy collaborating with colleagues from various backgrounds.Capable of embracing a flexible rotating schedule, including nights, overnights, weekends, and public holidays as required.At Accor, we welcome you as you are.
