The Role
The Project Support Officer (PSO) in Secure Systems Integrations will provide essential administrative and project management support to ensure the smooth running of projects, specifically for PSZs (Physical Security Zones), including SCIFs (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities).
Support the Project Manager in planning, executing and closing projects, with a focus on ensuring compliance with national security and construction security requirements. Liaise with all stakeholders within the project to ensure smooth communication and coordination. Collaborate with Project Manager & Construction Security Officers to ensure the security of construction sites within secure zones, managing (but not limited to) access control, visitor logs, and surveillance systems. Support the development and implementation of security protocols specific to construction sites, including the management of restricted areas, personnel clearance, and monitoring equipment. Monitor and report on project issues, ensuring that any concerns relating to secure zones or construction security are promptly addressed. Ensure secure handling and dissemination of sensitive information in accordance with the PSPF and construction site security regulations. Our Ideal Candidate

Essential Requirements
The below key requirements are required to be demonstrated by all employees to Omni.
Be an Australian Citizen Hold and maintain a minimum NV1 Australian Government Security Clearance Have excellent communication, negotiation and relationship building skills Experience in project support or project management roles – especially with capital projects – with a strong understanding of project lifecycle and methodologies. Knowledge or familiarity with the Australian Government's Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF). Understanding of risk management practices, particularly in the context of security. In addition, it would be desirable to:
Hold a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Project Management, Business Administration, Security Management or related fields. Have a strong understanding of national security protocols, secure zone operations and construction security measures. Experience with construction site security regulations, including management of personnel clearances / checks, surveillance systems and security materials. Experience working with / or as a Construction Security Officer, or other security personnel in high-security environments, would be highly desirable.
