This position reports to the Head of Psychosocial Safety and works in close collaboration with the wider People and Operational Teams balancing technical expertise with exceptional stakeholder engagement to shape and influence our Psychosocial Safety strategy. This role is pivotal in driving key initiatives and supporting senior leaders, business units, and operational teams in identifying and managing psychosocial risks. We're looking for someone who thrives on collaboration, can engage and influence at all levels, and is passionate about promoting a safe and psychologically healthy workplace.
This is a permanent role and can be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane with hybrid working arrangements.
How will you make an impact? Key responsibilities include:
Collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders to guide and influence the execution of a Psychosocial Safety program aligned with business priorities.Partner with WHS, People, and Operational teams to identify and address psychosocial risks through co-developed, targeted risk management programs.Lead the design and delivery of both large and small Psychosocial Safety projects, ensuring successful implementation across the organisation.Stay current with industry trends and external benchmarking to inform data-driven Psychosocial Safety strategies.Analyse and monitor risk data to identify emerging issues and guide proactive risk management efforts.Ensure adherence to relevant legislation and evolving standards, keeping the organisation at the forefront of psychosocial safety practices.Build awareness and enhance psychosocial risk capability through structured learning initiatives across the business.Maintain strong relationships with SMEs and teams, acting as a consultant to embed effective psychosocial safety practices.Why work at Bupa? What do I need? Previous experience working in Psychosocial Safety, corporate wellbeing, business psychology, or work health and safety.Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, standards and requirements across Australia and New ZealandAbility to work collaboratively and effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders including senior leaders and executive teams, technical and functional specialists, business facing People Business Partners and ConsultantsDemonstrated experience in the autonomous and end-to-end management of corporate wellbeing, WHS or psychosocial safety related activities and programs.Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Work Health and Safety or related fields.About Bupa Asia Pacific: Bupa is an international healthcare group which has been committed to a purpose of helping people live longer, healthier, happier lives and making a better world for more than 70 years.
