About your role:
Deliver high quality evidence based clinical services (including tele-triage, tele-health assessments, generic and profession specific biopsychosocial mental health assessment, treatment, investigation, diagnosis and client management) to child and youth, adult, and elderly consumers in accordance with professional and ethical standards.
Maintain and support reporting lines to the Cassowary Area Team Leader and Rural and Remote and Indigenous Mental Health Operations Manager to ensure delivery of clinical services within a quality improvement framework, in a multidisciplinary team across a complex and varied work environment.
Assist in the provision of professional development and training for health professionals within government, non-government, and community services and groups, as well as with consumers and their families.
Provide clinical practice and professional supervision to less experienced staff, including students and those with provisional registration, to ensure the maintenance of professional clinical standards within the service.
