The Psychologist - Senior will provide bereavement care, in addition to psychological assessment and intervention to patients regarding women's reproductive health concerns and decisions about termination of pregnancy.

Our purpose is 'great care every day'. About your opportunity Fixed Term Temporary part-time (38 hours p.f.), up to 28.12.2025 with poss ext not exc 2 years. Delivering high quality evidenced based psychological clinical services (including telehealth) to patients within interprofessional teams.Contribution to the advancement of quality psychological services and optimal patient care, through provision of service development, quality improvement, and clinical education.Monitoring and reporting on work practices and outcomes, including initiating, planning and evaluating relevant quality and research initiatives.Providing supervision and training to less experienced (HP3) clinicians, students and members of the multi-disciplinary team.Generous remuneration package value up to $6556.00 p.m. comprising:
Salary range of $64.64 to $69.55 p.h. Requirements Applicants must possess an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) accredited four-year qualification in Psychology, and be eligible for provisional or general registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA), Psychology Board of Australia (PsychBA).While not mandatory, a PsychBA Area of Practice Endorsement in Clinical Psychology or Health Psychology would be highly regarded, as would PsychBA approved Supervisor status.This position requires possession of a C class driver licence.Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD): Health Care Workers in Queensland Health whose occupation poses a potential risk of exposure to blood or body fluids are required to provide evidence of vaccinations or proof that they are not susceptible (due to prior exposure to the disease and therefore have natural immunity) to the following VPD's Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella and Pertussis (diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis containing vaccine) according to the Queensland Health Policy.This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis.Please refer to the Role Description for further details.
