Psychologist - Senior (Paediatrics)

Provide high level evidence based clinical psychology services to children and young people (and their parents/carers) within the Paediatric and Adolescent and Young Adult Service.
An opportunity has become available for a Psychologist - Senior (Paediatrics) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will Provide high level evidence based clinical psychology services to children and young peopleUndertake clinical governance activities related to psychology within the multidisciplinary teamWork cooperatively and effectively within multiple clinical teams and with patients, liasing with their families, other health professionalsWork in partnership with children, adolescents and young adults, and their parents/carer support networksAbout you To be successful in this position you will require:

It provides both inpatient and outpatient support to children, adolescents and young adults, presenting to hospital with physical health and comorbid psychological conditions. The paediatric and AYA psychology service works within and alongside parents/carers, the multidisciplinary team and other relevant stakeholders/support networks, providing a holistic and family-centred approach to patient care and management across the patient's hospital and discharge journey
