Our care is tailored to each individual through workplace rehabilitation, counselling, injury prevention, and finding new employment.
We work with our clients to identify their goals and provide psychological or physical supports to help them live life to its fullest potential.
Our team includes Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Psychologists, and Rehabilitation Counsellors.
IPAR is part of the global MedHealth network.We are seeking individuals with a professional background in Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, or Social Work interested in working in the Occupational Rehabilitation sector in Darwin NT.The role is available for both part-time and full-time positions.We welcome new graduates to apply!In this diverse role, you will enjoy the flexibility and autonomy to manage your own day, supported by a close team of driven healthcare professionals.
You will provide occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions, both physical and psychological, assisting them in achieving return to health and return to work outcomes.Your duties will include:Case management with manageable caseloads and support from Rehabilitation Assistants;Applying your clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes;Working with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs;Collaborating with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals;Working across various schemes such as workers compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare, Department of Veteran's Affairs, and employer-funded injury prevention programs;Assisting those with an injury or health condition to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes;Completing various assessments using your clinical skills, including initial, workplace, and vocational assessments.You'll be a driven and energetic professional with the following qualities:A qualification in Psychology, Social Work, or Rehabilitation Counselling with registration from AHPRA, ASORC, or AASW;Previous experience in the Occupational Rehabilitation industry is highly regarded;Excellent communication skills;Compassion and empathy;Strong time management skills;A current valid Driver's License and access to a car with comprehensive insurance.Your Career at IPARIPAR is a lively and supportive place to work.
