OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: As a practitioner at Midpoint Psychology, you will provide evidence-based psychological therapy to clients facing a variety of mental health challenges and disorders.
This role offers the flexibility to set your own hours and manage your own caseload in a supportive and welcoming setting, making it an ideal setting for both personal and professional growth.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide evidence-based psychological therapy to clients.
Maintain clinical records using our cloud-based practice management software.
Meet reporting requirements with referring providers and other agencies as needed.
Liaise with the Principal Psychologist as required.
Participate in professional development activities and meetings.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: Registration with AHPRA.
Eligibility to provide Focused Psychological Strategies through the Medicare Benefits Schedule.
Ability to work autonomously with excellent organisational and time management skills.
Proven skills in engaging with clients.
Professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
Valid Northern Territory Working with Children Check.
Current National Police Clearance Certificate.
ABN.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of two years of experience in providing assessment and evidence-based psychological treatment for various mental health conditions.
