One Central Health is seeking experienced, professional psychologists at our regional clinic in Kalgoorlie, to work alongside our multidisciplinary team and consult with other health professionals including speech pathologists, occupational therapists, dieticians, and Positive Behaviour Support practitioners.

Your experience Your areas of interest Your past and present employment Why you would like the position Duties include but are not limited to: Assessing the general mental health of clients, their mental abilities and behaviour through conducting a variety of psychological tests including psychometric tests, one-on-one interviews and direct behavioural observations as deemed clinically relevant. Conducting best practice cognitive assessment and learning assessments. Working alongside other health professionals at One Central Health as part of the multidisciplinary team to address the mental health issues of patients. Working alongside other health professionals external to One Central Health as needed to address the mental health issues of clients. Developing, implementing and monitoring treatment programs including counselling and therapy. Maintaining a high-quality general standard of client care. Keeping up-to-date with the latest findings and developments in the international field of psychology to ensure clients are always receiving the best standard of care possible. Keeping detailed records relating to client conditions, care plans, therapies and progress. Psychologists are expected to have demonstrated achievement or capability in the areas appropriate to the Position Description. Minimum of 2 years' practical working experience as a psychologist. Psychologists are required to:Be registered as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioners Register Australia (AHPRA). Hold a bachelor's degree in psychology. Have excellent interpersonal communication skills. Have the ability to take care of clients with different personalities. Be comfortable using a computer for various tasks. Have the ability to assess patient condition and work with treatment plans. Additional Requirements Working with Children Check card About One Central Health One Central Health provides a range of allied health and paediatric services to clients of all abilities and ages. We're also a registered National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provider and offer Plan Management and Support Coordination services to approved participants.
