Psychologist Internship Situated in the Newcastle region, Belmont Christian College is a co-educational College of over 900 students that deeply values child safety.
Belmont Christian College is excited to offer an internship to support a provisional Psychologist in achieving full registration whilst providing wellbeing support to students and their families at the College.
The internship includes:
Professional supervision with a registered Psychologist who works in private practice and has experience in school psychology paid for by Belmont Christian College Employment at Belmont Christian College during term time One paid week in each of the three mid-term holidays to complete administration duties and professional development activities Four weeks of paid annual leave in the Christmas holidays Paid attendance at staff conference weeks (two weeks/year) Salary annualised across the calendar year and paid fortnightly The option of ongoing full time employment on completion of the internship, or a combination of part time work at the College and part time work in private practice with the supervising Psychologist This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children and adolescents and who is seeking support to achieve their registration as a Psychologist in a supportive Christian environment.
All staff are required to be Christians, active in their local church and have a willingness to follow the College's Codes of Conduct and child safe policies.
