Your part-time role As a Psychologist in the Air Force Specialist Reserve, you'll apply your skills and knowledge in behavioural science across a wide range of organisational psychology roles - from occupational, selection and research psychology, to training development and delivery, to performance enhancement and psychological awareness. Air Force Psychologists are integral to the development and implementation of new initiatives that improve the overall wellbeing and effectiveness of the Air Force workforce. Training You'll be required to complete the Specialist Reserve Induction Course (SRIC) at RAAF Base East Sale. All Health Specialist Reserve members may also complete the Operational Health Support training, located at RAAF Base Amberley, as well as an online Health Officer Conversion Course. You will be offered further employment training to conduct your role as required Location Specialist Reserve members may be recruited from any location within Australia. You will be posted to either a Joint Health or Air Force Health Services Wing for duty which may include exercises or deployments.
