The Department of Education is looking for a Psychologist to contribute to the important work of our Student Support Services (SSS) team in Moonee Valley to support schools in addressing the barriers that impact student(s) access, preparation, and progress towards achieving their educational goals and developmental potential.
Student Support Services aims to assist children and young people facing a range of barriers to learning to achieve their educational and developmental potential through the provision of a range of strategies and specialized support at individual, group, and school levels.
Working in our Student Support Services team is deeply meaningful, highly rewarding, challenging, and dynamic. You'll work with a diverse group of people who share a common goal, and you will be well supported to use your professional skills and knowledge to provide specialized support at the individual, group, school, and area level. Our dynamic team comprises Speech Pathologists, Psychologists, and Social Workers. You will also work with other area and regional staff, such as Education Improvement Leaders, Visiting Teachers, School Nurses, and Professional Practice Leaders to improve learning and wellbeing outcomes in schools.
