This is a Part Time Position required to be on campus during term time, starting from 22 January 2025 or by negotiation for the right candidate. ResponsibilitiesWorking collaboratively as a member of the team of psychologists at Haileybury to implement a whole school approach to student wellbeing that builds resilience and connectedness and identifies opportunities for proactive and preventative programsProviding and maintaining student wellbeing service delivery including counselling and assisting with staff professional development relating to student wellbeing where applicableConducting individual case management using a systems approach and referring on to outside providers as necessaryAttending parent/teacher meetings and Pastoral Care meetings as requiredFacilitating programs accessible to the broader school communityWorking collaboratively in the assessment of students and submissions for funding and special provisions Working with parents, teachers and external professionals to implement learning recommendations.Skills & ExperienceDemonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders using excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skillsProven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as requiredStrong commitment to providing safe, high-quality care using a client-centred approachStrong computer skills with sound knowledge of Microsoft applications and the ability to interpret data and write reportsStrong commitment to confidentiality and maintaining privacy of all students intactAbility to manage pastoral issues through effective dialogue and process.Experience of working with children from a culturally and/or linguistically diverse backgroundPrevious experience working at a school.Accredited Master's Degree in Psychology Psychologist registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency).Why work for us; Foster a collaborative environment through regular peer supervision sessions.AHPRA Registration PaidWe cover the costs associated with AHPRA registration for our dedicated team members.Professional Supervision (Up to 10 Sessions Annually)Provide opportunities for ongoing professional growth with up to 10 annual professional supervision sessions.Professional DevelopmentEncourage continuous learning and development through a commitment to professional growth.Supervised Practice with Board Approved Supervisor (Educational and Developmental Psychology)Eligible psychologists may have access to supervised practice opportunities with a Board-approved supervisor in Educational and Developmental Psychology.OverallWe believe that these benefits, along with the flexible work arrangements, will contribute to creating a positive and supportive work environment for our future psychology team members.Want to find out more?
