Timbertop is Geelong Grammar School's Year 9 full boarding campus, located in Victoria's high country near Mansfield, which offers a full academic and outdoor education programme designed to take advantage of the magnificent environment.
Our teaching staff live on campus with approximately 245 students in a supportive residential community. Our staff have a significant role in enhancing the resiliency and wellbeing of students through the delivery of Positive Education, based on the principles of Positive Psychology.
Our Psychologist/Counsellor provides on-site counselling to students and liaises with parents/guardians and a range of staff (including Geelong Grammar School staff, General Practitioners, Psychologists and Nurses) to facilitate and coordinate student access to treatment as required.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a registered psychologist or qualified counsellor with specialist knowledge of youth mental health to support the needs of young people in the Geelong Grammar School environment. This role is to commence in 2025.
This position is offered on a part-time 1-2 days, ongoing basis, working during term time only. Weekends/Mondays/Tuesdays/Fridays are ideal.
