Psychologist: Child & Adolescent (Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist) Gymea Lily Psychotherapy Centre is looking for a number of part-time Psychologists/Clinical Psychologists/Registrars (who want to work from 4 hours up to 3 days per week):
with child and adolescent private practice clients;with a capacity to do one evening or Saturday with children and/or adolescents.We are based in Kirrawee and are very close to the train station.
We have a team of 13 Psychologists who work well together, including a number of registered supervising Clinical Psychologists who can help with supervision if needed.
There is flexibility in the hours (up to 6 full days are available), as well as Saturdays and evenings (minimum 4 hours).
We are happy to accommodate parents returning to work or new graduates who want to work in a play therapy framework to learn more about psychodynamic psychotherapy.
We have a wet and a dry play therapy room.
Free supervision groups for professional development and continuing professional development (CPD) are part of working with us.
We are looking for someone who is interested in working in a practice that operates psychodynamically and longer-term with clients.
Essential: Registered in NSW, eligible for a Medicare provider number/HIC registered; own indemnity insurance, WWCC.At least 5 years post-registration experience.Clinical psychology degree/APS clinical college membership;Proficiency in child & adolescent work;Psychodynamic psychotherapy experience or an interest in unconscious processes;Experience with multiple frameworks including systemic work, as well as an ability to work with an analytical focus is desirable.Child psychoanalytic psychotherapy/play therapy skills/experience.(Note: If you are interested in moving into private practice we can provide referrals and support you in this.
