What you'll be doing Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and provide evidence-based treatment plans for older adult patientsCollaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to deliver holistic, patient-centred careProvide expert consultation, advice and support to general practitioners and other healthcare providersContribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and proceduresParticipate in continuing professional development activities to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in geriatric psychiatryWhat we're looking for Registration as a Specialist Psychiatrist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)Extensive experience in the assessment and treatment of older adult patients with psychiatric conditionsStrong clinical skills, including the ability to diagnose, treat and manage a range of mental health disordersExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with patients, families and other healthcare professionalsA demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development and a passion for delivering high-quality, evidence-based careWhat we offer
