Psychiatry – General Adult Consultant/Staff Specialist/Vmo 26962

The large hospital provides a full range of services to the local community, including elective surgery, obstetrics, a busy emergency department, oncology, and paediatrics services.

Accommodation: ISLHD MHS will reimburse the agency on invoice for accommodation.
The allowance is $200 per night plus GST.
Please attach accommodation invoice or receipts marked as paid.

Hire Cars: ISLHD MHS will reimburse the cost of hire cars (medium/intermediate sedan/hatch only).
Alternatively, if a locum is using their own car, mileage will be reimbursed to the candidate via Vmoney only at the ATO rate, currently 88 cents per kilometre.
There is NO allowance available for candidates that wish to make their own car hire arrangements or do not have claimable mileage.

Please note ISLHD MHS do not cover flights or the journey to and/or from the placement.

Job Requirements: All positions will be placed on the After Hours Roster (Approximately two shifts per month maximum).
RANZCP Supervisor Status required.
Candidates are required to provide current references (worked with the candidate within the past 3 months) that can be verified, with one being a current supervisor.
