The first division, the largest within the East Metropolitan Health Service, spans a diverse geographical area. It delivers care through 128 mental health beds, encompassing youth, adult, rehabilitation, and older adult inpatient settings. A Mental Health Emergency Centre was commissioned in 2019, and in 2022, a 12-bed Mental Health Unit was established to provide treatment for individuals with acute and complex mental illness needs.
This division also operates three community services, meeting the specialist mental health care needs of the adult and older adult population.
The second division is a general hospital focused on providing a range of high-quality healthcare services to the community. It offers inpatient, outpatient, and community services for adults and older adults in the local area. The hospital includes 33 adult inpatient beds and a high dependency unit, while its Adult Community Mental Health Services provide outpatient care for adults aged 18 to 65.
