Bupa's ADF Health Services are responsible for providing integrated and seamless end-to-end health services such as primary and occupational healthcare, dental, physiotherapy, mental health and psychology services, pharmacy, occupational rehabilitation, and health administration. We also support delivery of pathology, imaging and radiology, vocational rehabilitation, hospital, specialist, allied health, patient transport and other off base services enabled by Bupa systems. We support the delivery of health services to 85,000 Defence Force members and their families across more than 50 locations in Australia.
About the Role Part-time permanent opportunity - Wednesday & Thursday This role offered will be remote
Within the ADF contract, our psychiatrists are responsible for providing expert psychiatric advice and support to Defence and health service providers. This will involve the management of complex mental health cases.
Taking on the Psychiatrist role, you will have:
Extensive experience as a clinical leader and psychiatrist involved in the provision of clinical interventions relevant to the needs of Eligible Personnel experiencing mental health problems, particularly the impact of trauma; A high-level of experience in mental health and psychiatric service leadership and management, program development, research and/or policy development; Wide ranging experience in the provision of clinical supervision in a multidisciplinary clinical environment.

You will also require:
Current unrestricted registration as a Psychiatrist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA); Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Psychiatrists; Current Defence Health Services experience (desirable); Base Line Security Clearence (desirable)
