About the Role The Central Allocations Unit has opportunities for Endorsed Enrolled Nurses to join our team.
The Mental Health casual bank offers the opportunity to work across:  Adult Acute Unit Parent and Infant Unit PARC SECU (Sovereign House) Steel Haughton Unit Ballarat Mental Health Services is a dynamic service striving to provide the highest standards of treatment for the City of Ballarat and local surrounding communities while maintaining a commitment to a continuously improving clinical environment.

To maintain your position with the Central Allocations Unit, a commitment of 2 shifts per fortnight is required.
Casual bank is managed by the Central Allocations Unit which operates 7 days a week.
Grampians Health uses an electronic rostering system that matches staff for shifts based on their availabilities via text/phone call.

Key Responsibilities Caring for a diverse range of patients and residents in varied care settings Ability and willingness to provide high-quality, direct care within the scope of practice Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive, patient-focused outcomes Complete mental state exams and risk assessments for consumers Complete medication administration in adherence to overarching governance   Undertake tasks under the direction of NUM / ANUM / RPN on shift Documentation and updating of care plans/patient records Provide accurate and timely communication with residents, visitors, and staff at all levels within Grampians Health Maintaining accurate availability in our electronic rostering system and accepting shifts based on availability Skills and experience Prior experience/placement in a Mental Health setting Demonstrated clinical knowledge and skills Ability to function within a team Current AHPRA Registration Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain if working in a Care Community Current Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain To see a full copy of the Position Description please click here.
