PSA SA: Communications Officer (Media & Publications) PSA SA The Public Service Association (PSA) is the principal trade union representing Public Sector workers in South Australia, and is dedicated to pursuing the interests of its members through strong, effective leadership and community advocacy.
We are seeking a Communications Officer (Media and Publications) to join the PSA.
Qualifications in Journalism or a related field and previous experience working in a member-based organisation will be highly regarded.
The Communications Officer (Media and Publications) is responsible for delivering high quality communications support as part of the PSA's General Secretary's Team, including development of messaging; production of the quarterly PSA Review magazine; membership communications; PSA media releases; liaison with journalists and other external stakeholders as directed. The person in this position is expected to facilitate organisational effectiveness and deliver a high standard of communications consistent with the PSA's Strategic Plan and relevant PSA policies and procedures.
This is an ongoing role based in the Adelaide CBD. The PSA is willing to consider both part-time and full-time options between 0.8FTE to 1.0FTE, to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Commencement salary will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
