The ORS Psychology division is expanding and we are seeking our next clinician to join us!
You will join a national team of 250+ Psychologists & Counsellors providing clinical services to NDIS participants aged 0-65.
You will work across early intervention, school age, adolescent and adult services with clients who have various presentations, diagnoses and disability types.
You will play an integral part in their personal growth and development, working together to meet their goals.
You will form a close bond with your clients and celebrate their achievements together, every step of the way.
Your day to day duties will involve working with allied health practitioners, support workers and family members to achieve the best possible outcomes for your clients.
You will assess and observe participants' challenging behaviours and work towards increasing skills, improving emotion regulation and introducing replacement behaviours to reduce the use of restrictive practices.

Provide the resources for our staff to be able to work from homeAim to allocate clients close to your homeGive you ownership of your own calendar so you can book appointments to suit your scheduleProvide suburban office locations with free onsite and local parkingGive you the ability to work part time or reduced hoursPsychology Internship ProgramTo support employees with their supervised practice pathways to general registration as a Psychologist, ORS funds $7,500 in annual supervision costs to complete an internship program.
Currently, we employ over 180 Provisional Psychologists, and understand what it takes to support individuals effectively through to full registration.
Supervision is either provided in-house by an experienced and registered supervisor, or employees may find their own external supervisor, and ORS pays up to $7,500 per year.
Learning and DevelopmentAt ORS we truly value the clinical and professional development of our staff.
That is why we have four dedicated Learning & Development Managers in the Positive Behaviour Support division who all possess many years of diverse clinical experience, extensive background in university lecturing, and impressive qualifications.
You will be able to connect with these individuals in one on one and group training sessions, plus have the ability to email or pick up the phone at any time to ask their advice on complex cases.
This resource is in addition to the many Managers and Team Leaders we have on staff!
A few requirementsTertiary qualifications in Psychology and the ability to become registered as a Provisional PsychologistExperience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, and other complex diagnoses (desirable)A car and licenceA National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or able to get one for a client facing role (or willingness to obtain one before commencement)A bit about usORS is one of the largest and fastest growing national allied health and workplace rehabilitation providers in Australia, and has a proven track record and reputation for providing high quality evidence-based and client centred services for almost 30 years!
