Provisional Psychologist for Private PracticeProvisional Psychologist Internship Program Full-Time - January 2025 start Ease Psychology is a boutique private practice in Barton ACT, with excellent staff retention.
We aim to be "ethical and kind" in everything we do.
If our staff are happy and well supported, we can be in the best position to offer high-quality psychological services.
We are now expanding and seeking a provisional psychologist to join our team to complete their internship program. At Ease, we are a small, welcoming team of 4 clinicians and 1 admin assistant (+ 1 clinical assistant in 2025) so you will be an important and valuable member of our team.
Above all, we are seeking a good cultural fit to maintain our lovely working environment and a clinician who is friendly, down to earth, flexible and has a strong client focus.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage warmly with clients and colleagues are important. The successful applicant will hold provisional registration with AHPRA.
They will have an interest in learning to assess for neurodiversity (ASD and ADHD).
Our ideal team member will manage their therapy sessions independently (with regular supervision support) for a range of presentations including ADHD, anxiety, depression, grief, life changes, stress management, substance use, risk management and relational concerns using CBT, DBT, ACT and other modalities as required.
An interest in child/adolescent treatment is advantageous. Why work with us? Reasonable KPIs for client load to balance work/life demands, with time each day for administration and treatment planning.
Two days work from home per month for treatment planning, administrative needs and report writing.

You will have your own dedicated office space to keep your therapy materials organised and set up your space as you prefer.Excellent administrative support is available.There is a varied caseload, across the lifespan.
Our clients are motivated and high-functioning.The director is an APS board-approved supervisor for the internship program, with good working knowledge of requirements and supervision is included.
