Only one position will be filled on merit.The role:Assist children and young people to recover from the effects of family violence trauma through the delivery of developmentally appropriate specialist psychological services and therapeutic support.Undertake appropriate forms of interventions within family violence, trauma, and attachment frameworks in line with evidence-based practice and contemporary therapeutic models.Undertake psychological assessments of children, young people, and their families using standardised assessment methods.Provide therapeutic interventions, case management services, and, if necessary, referrals to appropriate agencies.Contribute to and participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs, including group programs and sessions for clients of Children and Young Persons' Program (CHYPP) and Family Violence Counselling and Support Service (FVCSS).Details of Appointment:Permanent, full-time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. *notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant.Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or fixed-term full-time, part-time, and casual vacancies.Salary: $71,441 - $107,878 per annum.
