Provisional Fellow Of Upper Gi And General Surgery

Job Summary
We are seeking a Provisional Fellow of Upper GI and General Surgery to join our team at Wollongong Hospital. As a Provisional Fellow, you will work with three Upper GI surgeons to provide tertiary level Upper GI district wide services, including pancreatic, hepatic, and oesophagogastric resections for cancer.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide independent and effective medical care of surgical patients under the supervision of specialist staff
* Undertake emergency surgery and inpatient and outpatient surgical consultations, including those in the Emergency Department
* Work with the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care
Requirements
* MBBS or equivalent
* Currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia
* Minimum five years postgraduate experience with previous experience in General Surgery
* Sufficient skills, knowledge, and experience to practice as a safe and competent Provisional Fellow
* Teamwork and leadership skills
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills
* Experience in teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate students
* Moderate computer skills
