We are now seeking a Provider Program Coordinator to join our team at 0.8FTE, workdays negotiable.

About the role The Provider Program Coordinator takes care of the administrative tasks for managing contracted allied health providers and makes sure services are delivered to members as per our guidelines and contracts.
This involves working with our Provider Integrity team to help coordinate and deliver programs that support our members' healthcare needs, while making sure they are getting the best value from their membership by building strong relationships with providers and keeping things on track with compliance.

Key responsibilities: Coordinating Health Partners Physiotherapy scheme including assessing network coverage in line with approved measures, reviewing and responding to applications, performing market research and leading the recruitment process of suitable practices. Reviewing and updating Health Partners Physiotherapy contracts to ensure they support our business requirements and compliance obligations. Assisting Provider Integrity's Claims Audit and Investigations staff to conduct routine audits of contracted physiotherapy practices. Reviewing and reporting on Health Partners Physiotherapy scheme through benchmarking practices and market research. Champion and actively maintaining professional relationships with contracted physiotherapy practices to facilitate our business objectives. Ensuring business plan activities related to the Health Partners Physiotherapy Scheme are undertaken according to agreed schedule. Maintaining and providing reviews on the Health Partners Preferred Provider Dental and Podiatry Schemes guided by established management principles of the Health Partners Physiotherapy Scheme. Maintaining health fund system provider records and investigating any issues or incidents relating to claiming for contracted allied health services. Reviewing and updating procedure documentation and participating in business plan activities. About you To be successful in the role you will have:

A valid Driver's Licence. Excellent communication skills and proactive problem-solving abilities. The ability to work independently without supervision through excellent time management and prioritisation. Experience in Health service administration and general Health Insurance knowledge. Working knowledge of the Privacy Act, the Medicare Benefit Scheme and the Pharmaceutical Benefit Schedule or a willingness to learn. Proficiency in using Adobe Acrobat as well as other related Microsoft Office tools. Advanced knowledge of Health Partners products and fund rules is an advantage! What's on offer?
