About the Project The Midland Station Cale Street Project is being delivered by the Midland Junction Alliance (MJA) comprising of Public Transport Authority of Western Australia (PTA), McConnell Dowell Pty Limited (MCD), Georgiou Group Pty Limited, BG&E and Arcadis is an alliance that is committed to delivering the Midland Station (Cale Street) Project (MSCS) and associated works in a collaborative way to ensure exceptional results.
About the Role We are looking for an experienced Protection Officer to join our team in Perth, in a full time position.
This role will see you coordinating and implementing rail safeworking rules and procedures within the PTA and Arc infrastructure rail networks to enable project works to occur within the rail corridor and on track.
You will be required to comply with the relevant Rail Transport Operators (RTO) processes and procedures for ensuring works in the rail corridor are done safely and do not impact day to day operations of the RTO.
Responsibilities include: Facilitates the consistent application and implementation of the PTA Safeworking Rules and Procedures and the Arc Infrastructure Network Rules Assists in the planning and implementing protection arrangements for complex possessions Applying Safeworking rules and/or protection to workgroups within the rail network.
Complete risk assessments and conduct pre-work briefings with site personnel.
Maintain positive relationships with client representatives Promotion of the Alliance Charter including Our Values, Vision, Mission, and Key Result Areas and understanding the individual contribution to its delivery Compliance with the Safety and Environmental Responsibilities specific to Alliance Management Plan and promote the highest Health and Safety Standards Adherence to MJA's Management System which is based on McConnell Dowell Management System About You To be successful in this role, the following is preferred; Current C class drivers licence Construction industry white card Rail Industry Worker (RIW) card, with required accreditation for role Ability to pass Cat 1 medical Proven experience in providing rail safeworking protection for a workgroup in the form of a Work on Track Authority Strong and Clear communication skills, written and verbal Able to work weekends and nightshifts when required Please note only shortlisted candidates will be contacted No agency applications will be accepted.
