The Role: National Capital Private Hospital is looking to hire a Prosthesis Co-ordinator as part of the Theatre and Supply team.
You will be responsible for the management and co-ordination of the end-to-end prosthesis supply process within the hospital.
To ensure that all items are accounted for and are appropriately charged through to the health funds.
Ensure that suppliers, hospital staff, and Doctors' prosthesis supply needs are met and develop strategies to reduce waste costs by negotiating with suppliers.
Minimum Requirements: Demonstrated experience in working in a healthcare environment.Experience using a computer-based inventory system and patient management system.Understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to work in a team environment.Exceptional communication skills.Desirable Qualifications: Experience within the theatre environment and knowledge of the prosthesis management process.Experience using Finance One (Tech 1) inventory system and Webpas patient management system.Understanding of health fund billing and contract process.Knowledge of medical products.Knowledge of medical terminology.Why Healthscope?
