THE POSITION Supportive team culture and mentoring with enormous development opportunities across Sales, Marketing, Operations and beyond. Conducting market research including in-depth market mapping, maintaining accurate sector profiles, enriching lead data and compiling and sharing key insights with the wider business. Engaging prospective clients through cold calling, emails, Linked In, and other platforms to assess viability and establish relationships. Gathering information to evaluate alignment with sector strategies, nurturing a sustainable pipeline of leads that equips the Business Development team and the business for success. Promote and elevate our sector brand profiles through targeted, strategic communications. Diverse exposure to multiple parts of the business – facilitating rapid experience and expertise development across corporate functions and the hospitality industry. Close collaboration with Operations, Marketing, Business Development, and other Growth teams in particular. Report on prospecting activities, including engagement metrics, sector trend insights and learnings. Build and maintain strong connections with internal teams and key stakeholders. THE PERSON Essential At home in a fast-paced environment. Confident in communicating with prospective Clients, primarily Senior Decision Makers (Exec/Dir/GM level) including cold calls and detailing our sector brands/solutions in detail. Strong writing and persuasion skills for engaging client communications tailored to market needs. Self-motivated, adaptable, and results-driven mindset. Resilience and determination with a professional demeanour. Analytical approach and mindset – confident conducting and analysing detailed market research with an ability to apply a strategic approach. Strong IT skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office – ability to record, manage and analyse large data sets. Excellent interpersonal skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders. Capability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Desired Experience in a client-facing Sales or Business Development role. Experience conducting in-depth market research and producing valuable insights as a result of data analysis. Familiarity with CRM systems and large data sets.
