The ANZ Propositions Director drives incremental value through the creation of best-in-class innovative propositions that increase the distribution of our products and services across our chosen markets resulting in growth in the Connected Living P&L across Australia and New Zealand.
Working with the country and global teams, the individual will lead Proposition development (Product, Process, Promotion and Pricing), and the associated strategic initiatives, with the objective of optimising commercial relationships with our Client and Partner brands.
Identify market drivers and customer needs to define the value proposition with the Country; be seen as the market expert with respect to our chosen Products internally and externally.Drive, advocate, and promote a customer first mindset in all we do.Engage with the Global Product Teams to understand Global insights/capabilities and ensure that all new propositions that are deployed in APAC are viable and the relevant employees have a clear understanding of our "go to market" strategy.Drive and deliver proposition development and strategic initiatives to deliver our strategic growth/account plans by creating sustainable customer and client value propositions.Improve commercial return on propositions for existing clients, including through 3D strategy of Defend, Develop and Disruption (including continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives).Ensuring the ANZ proposition roadmaps are collaborative and actively maintained to meet internal and external needs; lead project resources and influence functional leaders to embrace change and align resources to those proposition roadmaps.Ensure consumer and client marketing accurately reflect Assurant's current and future capabilities; establish robust Go to Market plans for existing and new propositions.Collaborate and align with client management and business development teams to ensure we are executing on identified Proposition development objectives.Represent ANZ in the global product quarterly sessions and sponsor inclusion of our initiatives in product roadmaps. Establishes and engages strategic supply side partnerships with "key" partners that are critical in supporting Proposition development.Fosters and promotes an internal personal network of both peers and others (including the ANZ & APAC President) to gain their input and support on their objectives.Does this sound like you? Bachelor of Business, Marketing, Finance or related fields8 years experience in product management and development in industry related to Assurant Connected Living such as, but not limited to, financial services, insurance, telecommunication, retail, OEM or related / relevant industriesExtensive experience developing and managing partnerships, ideally in the mobile, insurance or technology sectorA solid and proven track record of initiating, leading, and implementing partnership development strategiesAbility to understand Assurant's core service products and capabilities and be able to create new propositions for our clients and their customersUnderstand the mobile device / lifestyle markets in order to anticipate future customer needsUnderstanding of market research techniques and methodologies including how to co-ordinate a campaign, report on the results and make recommendations for future activityComfortable working in a very fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving culture and passionate about achieving results for the team, not the individualDeveloped commercial acumen in order to build profitable propositions for Assurant and key clientsProven experience in developing and delivering strategic roadmaps for service productsExperience of plans, budget forecasting and reportingProven ability to interact with a wide network, with strong advocacy skillsExcellent communication, negotiation, and engagement skillsCreativity and perseveranceInterested?
