About the role: The Proposal Manager is responsible for the management of medium to large, sometimes complex and strategic Proposals, generally >$5M to The role requires supporting and managing teams and processes to achieve desired outcomes within tight deadlines.
You will need to understand clients' needs and drivers and develop strong relationships with Account Managers, Operations Managers, Operational SMEs, Estimators, Engineers, internal business support functions, the governance board, and other stakeholders within Zinfra as well as related parties and partners.
Your responsibilities will include: Fostering a team culture that optimises individual and team capability and performanceEffectively articulate the win strategy and Proposal themes to the Proposal team at the commencement of the Proposal development processManage the Client clarification process following the submission of proposalsManage the process of handing over the Contract and relevant Proposal documents to Operations for Won OpportunitiesMaintain a good working knowledge of completed, current, and future ProposalsAdhere to the Sales Lifecycle Management Procedure and applicable forms, tools, and GuidelinesEnsure all Proposal information is securely and logically captured in SharePoint in line with the document management processExperience Tertiary qualifications in STEM, Business Management, or Commercial disciplines, or other significant demonstrated relevant experienceExperience delivering or bidding power projects will be highly regardedProposal and Project management process knowledge and understanding thorough market knowledge of pricing benchmarksProposal planning and Microsoft ProjectProposal document preparation using Microsoft Office and AdobeDocument management and SharePointSalesforce or other CRM knowledgeAbout you: You will have previous experience in a Proposal Manager role or previous relevant Project Manager experience, ideally from a power or infrastructure backgroundAbility to prioritise tasks and work to tight deadlinesBe a great people leader with a can-do attitudeOur people are our energy source, and we offer meaningful benefits and rewards that work for you.
