About the Role Mipac is seeking a dynamic Proposal Manager to join our Brisbane team.
In this critical role, you will manage and direct the bid process for new business opportunities, from the Bid/No Bid stage through to contract award across our 3 offices in Brisbane, Perth and Tucson.
Your primary responsibility will be to lead the end-to-end bid management activities, ensuring proposals are delivered on time, reflect Mipac's value proposition, and enhance our competitive position in the market.
As a Proposal Manager, you will collaborate closely with Business Development Managers, Account Managers, and cross-functional teams to create high-quality, compelling submissions that align with client requirements and business objectives.
Your work will be essential in securing new business and strengthening existing client relationships.
Key Responsibilities Bid Management: Oversee the entire bid process, coordinating activities with sales, technical, and management teams to ensure comprehensive and competitive bid responses.Bid Preparation: Assess bid requirements, collaborate with technical, commercial, and legal teams, and craft compelling narratives that align with Mipac's objectives.Proposal Preparation: Lead the end-to-end management of proposal activities, ensuring submissions are accurate, timely, and aligned with Mipac's messaging.Collaboration and Coordination: Facilitate cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment and address any issues in the proposal components.Quality Assurance: Conduct detailed reviews of bid documents, applying best practices to continuously enhance the quality of submissions.Reporting and Documentation: Prepare bid performance reports and collaborate with stakeholders to implement improvements based on lessons learned.Sales Administration: Lead inbound sales processes for Mipac hardware products, managing CRM, order forecasting, and activity reporting.About You; What you bring to the table Proven experience managing bids within the engineering services industry, preferably within the mining or process automation sectors.Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Meticulous attention to detail, particularly in proposal preparation and formatting, ensuring impeccable writing quality.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to convey messages effectively.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.A relevant degree in Electrical Engineering, Business, or Information Technology is desirable.Benefits A global company with a diverse, inclusive and welcoming team culture.Flexible and hybrid work options.Continuous learning and professional development opportunities, including free access to online learning platform Udemy.Support to gain further accreditation and certifications through our Study Support policy.Health & wellbeing benefits including private health discounts and access to an Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Free onsite parking (conditions apply - of up to 2 days per week) and end-of-trip facilities in Brisbane CBD.In-office breakfast supplies, monthly staff drinks and regular Social Club events (which are totally optional).About us Would you like to work for a global company that's on a trajectory of sustained growth?
