A great opportunity exists to join Zurich's General Insurance team as a Property Underwriter.
As a market facing Property Underwriter, you will be required to analyse and underwrite new and renewal business, under general direction, using the Zurich way of Underwriting Framework within delegated authority levels on assignments of technical complexity ensuring an elevated level of service to customers.
Important to your success - let's grow together Relevant tertiary qualifications and strong experience in the Insurance sector Demonstrated technical knowledge and skills reflective of progression of positions of increasing responsibility In-depth knowledge of line(s) of business and the legal and regulatory guidelines Excellent negotiation skills and ability to effectively assess risk Strong knowledge of underwriting philosophy, techniques, national/local filing, regulations, and guidelines Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills Solid knowledge of processing methods and workflow procedures, and basic knowledge of insurance underwriting and regulations for assigned territories.
